    Nickel N6 Material Characteristics Commercially pure nickel or low-alloy nickel is highly useful in various fields such as chemical processes and the electronics industry. Nickel exhibits resistance to various reducing chemicals, and its resistance to caustic alkalis is irreplaceable. Compared to nickel-based alloys, commercially pure nickel has higher electrical and thermal conductivity, along with a higher Curie temperature, demonstrating good magnetostrictive properties. Annealed nickel possesses low hardness along with good ductility and flexibility. These characteristics, combined with its excellent welding performance, make this metal easily processable. Nickel has a relatively low work hardening rate, but it can achieve moderate strength levels with cold working while maintaining its ductility.

    Pure nickel is a silver-white metal widely used in chemical, mechanical electronics, food, and other industries due to its excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical vacuum performance, and electromagnetic control performance. Pure nickel has excellent welding and processing properties. Nickel and nickel alloys can be processed into products such as tubes, bars, wires, plates, strips, and foils. N6 is the most widely used material in industrial applications, exhibiting excellent mechanical performance and corrosion resistance, particularly against the corrosiveness of caustic soda.
