Material description
Nickel 200 (UNS N02200/W.Nr. 2.4060 & 2.4066) is a 99.6% pure nickel alloy, one of the toughest metals in existence. It has excellent mechanical properties and high thermal and electrical conductivity. Furthermore, the beneficial properties of Nickel 200 and its chemical composition make it easy to manufacture and highly resistant to corrosive environments.

Nickel Alloy Applications:
Nickel alloy is used heavily in the chemical and electronics industries. It is also used in the aerospace, petrochemical, power generation and marine/offshore engineering industries. Typical applications where Nickel 200/201 is used include electronic and electroplating components, caustic evaporators, food processing equipment, caustic handling and storage equipment, synthetic fiber production, salt production and other processes where sodium hydroxide and fluorine are used.
They are used in a wide range of applications such as aircraft gas turbines, nuclear power systems, medical applications, chemical and petrochemical industries, and steam turbine power plants. Other uses that include nickel's unique physical properties include shape memory alloys, soft magnetic alloys, low expansion alloys, and electrical resistance alloys.
